Anyone following this tit for tat thing with the G7 and russian oil and russia stopping gas supplies? Is this the EU countries saying "We have enough gas now to surivive without you"? It seems quite an escalation.

Russia cut the gas off a good few weeks back for “pipeline maintenance”. This is just the same “pipeline maintenance” going on for longer.

It’s better for us and the EU to sort out alternates now rather than this having happened in 2 months.
