There will be a push for more self determination for their country I think.

I wonder how many areas, states whatever, are just bidding their time. Putin still has some heavy hitters who could, doubtful but could pile in and crush a rebellion. If they wait a little longer Russia is even weaker with less crack* troops. It would help Ukraine enormously if they rose up now though.

* for crack read troops less reliant on vodka for courage.

What will happen in the coming months when the winter sets in? The game changer over the last few months is HIMARS being able to quickly fire off salvos deep into enemy territory to disrupt supply lines then move on before the Russians get time to respond. Moving something like that around in mud and snow will be more difficult, will Ukraine be looking at air power instead to hit targets. Russia can continue their indiscriminate cruise missile attacks, Ukraine doesn’t have anything like this or a platform to launch them from. Time for the US to send them Tomahawks?

Pretty daming assesment of Ukrainian attack strategy elsewhere in Ukraine to Lyman.
Attacking in hope rather than preparing the ground properly - especially destroying known artilary positions before hand and using counter battery fire to nullify additional artilary fire.
Still, the attack across the Oskil will have sucess until Russian reserves block it. They may even throw in an infinite number of mobilized monkeys as cannon fodder.
And Kherson will bleed the Russians dry till logistics become a major issue at which point the Russian line will collapse.
