Putin will not use them. Because doing so would guarantee his own demise.

Whereas threatening them gives him huge leverage, because of the reactions like those on here.

Don't believe me? Ask yourself why he hasn't used them already. He's already suffered the heaviest loss of armour in military history, two routs of his army and had the pride of his fleet sunk by a country without a navy. If that wouldn't provoke a nuclear response, what would?

Enough.

Very scary times I think. Putin claiming those regions means he will say any attack on them is an attack on Russia and gloves may be off. If we do go in, and by that I hope it is full force of NATO as that is what its for, I hope we do it with purpose and intent. And then the UN needs to have more clout than its shown over the last couple of decades. No surprise Putin has done this now. Europe is weakened, thanks again Brexit

In regards to the explosions at noedstream, they coincide either the opening of a gas pipe from Denmark to Poland that runs over the top of nordstream 1 & 2 so they're saying it was Putin hitting his own pipes... ie showing pravado that he could hotbtjat new gas line anytime he wishes.

Not necessarily, depends on if the missile gets to the ground in one piece.

That's not really how nuclear weapons work. It's a tad more complicated than that.

No nukes will be getting dropped on Ukraine,IMO.
The westerlies will prevent that and maybe China.

At this stage I think even Ukrainian missile defence systems that have been loaned are sufficient in shooting them down. Russian nuclear systems are woefully archaic in that respect.
