In light of the UAE leaders trip to Russia, it would appear that one of the topics being discussed is the re flagging of more Russian oil tankers so they can avoid sanctions. A deal was done between a Dubai company and Sovcomflot back in July(?) to get insurance in India and this would appear to enhance this deal at a state level.
If UAE wants to be sanctioned then that, i would suggest is a good way to go about it.
Dark days for our Football club if this turns out to be true.

Perhaps Saudi and the UAE are simply not taking anyone's side. Perhaps the UAE are looking to be peace brokers. Don't forget the Saudis together with Abramovich secured the release of the British fighters. They could not have done that if they weren't neutral.

Apparently he played a major role in their release, he was on the plane with them and provided them with phones to tell their loved ones they were free. One of the British guys didn't stop singing his praises.

Grim news. The original 300,000 figure touted was presumably a smokescreen for a larger mobilisation of anyone, irrespective of previous training. I see that Russia’s television lickspittles are claiming that those who fled to Belarus and Kazakhstan are to be ‘repatriated’.
