Russian invasion of Ukraine

Yes.

I know it’s war, but it’s sad that so many people and soldiers have died on both sides and will continue to die instead of living a normal peaceful life all because of ‘one man’s’ insanity.
We should be clear. While Putin’s ambition has driven this war, he could not have done it without heavy support in the Kremlin, the armed forces, the Russian media, and the general population. There are many guilty parties.

Yep and getting rid of him doesn't necessarily mean we'll get anyone better as at this stage the entire lot are rotten (and he's largely to blame for that). Doesn't mean the **** shouldn't be assassinated though.

Reading the Daily Kos and updates from @SPIDERBOY it is clear that Russia is undergoing a disaster of the first order. Maybe 20,000 captured or killed. Can Putin survive this? The end may be in sight.
I’m lost in admiration for the Ukrainian moral, physical and political will.
We should remember that they have lost maybe 100,000 men killed or injured, a huge number of civilians tortured and killed and half their physical infrastructure destroyed. Yet, they will never give up. They will keep right on to the end. Amazing courage.

Overnight updates from the Daily KOS are astonishing.
