Russian invasion of Ukraine

Can't quite get my head around the idea of a private army, particularly on the Wagner scale. How on earth is a "Private Military Company" financed that it can own aircraft and fund 50,000 - 100,000 (or however many troops they have) with better equipment than the army of the nation it represents?

Do the Russian government just pay them via a contract? Is it like privatisation over here where we flog off the railways and water companies, or like the Covid procurement where the government give their mates fat contracts to siphon off public money?
Everything in Russia is outsourced with so many kick backs and dodgy payments that this wont seem odd to them at all.

I don't know much about these,so if anyone can explain them, feel free to do so.

Ukraine has designed and tested a new FPV Kamikaze drone.
They have ordered the components that will enable them to put 6000 in the air.....The Russians are apparently "worried".

Slava Ukraini.

You've hit 5+6 by mistake there surely ;)

Where they gonna find them?
What they gonna arm them with?
Who will lead them?.....regular and mobilised troops are slotting commanders, left, right and centre.

Slava Ukraini.

Places like Syria will become an even bigger recruiting ground for Wagner after what has happened with the earthquake. Desperate people will take the money.
