We need to come up with a cheap and easy to make anti air solution for these as they are using up a lot of the top end anti air.

Probably a very intentional move by Russia.

With the fact these don’t fly very fast some sort of anti air drone could do it.

Yep, this is the issue. using up the good stuff on these when hopefully there would be cheaper other options.

This is in part one if the advantages of the wests involvement. Military planning involves a lot of guess work but here you can see how things really play out.

The mix of low and high tech has been striking. High tech is great but can you afford to keep a supply going, and if the answer is no then what's the next best thing.
