Former US President Donald Trump, who promised to end Russia's war against Ukraine within 24 hours, previously did not end it before a full-scale invasion, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Italian media.

"Trump was president, we had a meeting. There wasn't a full-scale invasion then, but there was a war. I'm not sure he was deep into the matter then, but he didn't settle the matter. No one has solved this question. And because no one decided, we could not get out of this situation, and Putin received a signal: That is, it is possible. Comparing the two is silly. There are situations, admittedly few and far between, where launching missiles at unarmed women and children is forgivable.

After meeting the Pope today, and watching the Italian security aircraft of Flight Radar24 (a bit obvious really), and subsequent flights out of Rome, I think he's going to be in Washington tomorrow, it could also be Madrid, though I'm not sure why he would go there.
