Russian invasion of Ukraine

Quite a lot of chatter Russia deploying TOS-1 launchers Thermobaric weapons will destroy Kyiv killing thousands of civilians Putin is mentally ill.

I hope that lad swearing at the ‘animals‘ is still there after all this, he has a huge gun ready to shoot if he sees any Russians,
it’s not a rifle bigger than that.
There has been quite a few heroes in Ukraine if only we could help more

That big weapon was either an American Javelin or British/Swedish NLAW so we're helping in a way.

Not by the usual demonstrators. Conspicuous by their absence. Seems it’s only when U.K. , USA or Israel are the aggressors they take to the streets.
That is because we are in the UK and they are on those occasions protesting UK foreign policy. I'm not sure what stop the war would achieve by demonstrating against our own govt on the streets of London unless they were pushing for the UK / NATO to join Ukraine in action against Russia. A noble goal perhaps, but that would be a start rather than stop the war demo :-)

what is the evidence for your conclusion?
They have decided not to protest about Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Otherwise we would have seen them already on the streets. They are totally invisible at this moment in time. They’re called ‘ Stop The War’ . A total contradiction in terms. Hypocritices.

Things are getting to t6he stage where the Russians need to be warned of the awful consequences they face from the rest of the world were he to do such a thing and tell them he has to be removed from office now.............the more of his armed forces he commits to Ukraine the less protection he has around him

The civilian Ukrainian men and women are … incredibly brave and patriotic.

not in a jingoistic lagered up way, but in a way that is awesomely humbling. True passion for their nation and where they’ve had to come fromto be where they are now.

they are also hard as nails.

Infact most of the population in that region is - the Baltic’s, Poland, the Nordic countries.

I say that from anecdotes from Mrs dr JASR’s hospital work.
Brits came to hospital and were a right mix of polite and kind through to arrogant gobshite. But they generally understood pain and it’s levels.
Southern European’s turned up with little more than a paper cut and when asked on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being a very mild irritation and 10 being the most pain x10 that is imaginable , they would invariably say (whilst still using their mobile) ‘8-9…’
The Ukrainian types would come in, maybe a builder with half his arm hanging off, quietly and patiently, when asked (as the blood continues to splatter the floor) ‘maybe a 4…’

hard as …a 10.
