He's been in russia several times, and moscow a couple, he was last seen in Africa a few days ago where he gave one of his speaches lectures.

My point was they are probably just a crew on a private hire to do a flight, be 2 pilots and a steward.

A video I saw showed what looked like a missile going up, then a plane coming down, also it's a commercial jet, highly unlikely you get the doors open in flight.

You can open the door on a commercial flight and especially on a private jet. On private jets there are also chutes.
