As an FYI. Support for Ukraine seems to be growing in the GOP in the states rather than falling off. With some even wanting to only vote for more funding if the US takes the gloves off and sends massive military funding.

True, but the GOP suffer from massive cognitive dissonance and while their support for Ukraine may be growing, the candidate they actually want in office is bought and paid for by Putin and is more likely to start supplying the Russians

An opinion on today's Sevastopl's strike by an Israeli military expert Yigal Levin:

Why is Ukraine striking russian large landing ships (LLSs) and disabling them one by one?

No, not because of the fear of an amphibious landing. The russian Federation cannot even land a module on the Moon, let alone landing on the shores of Ukraine. The LLSs are called upon to save russian logistics at the moment when the Ukrainian Defense Forces cut the railway line running through Tokmak. After this, the russians plan to supply fuel to their army group in the occupied areas of the Zaporozhye region (and in the southern part of Donetsk) through occupied Mariupol, transferring fuel and heavy cargo using the large landing ship.

By the way, this is why they are now working on restoring the railway line in the Mariupol port. If Ukraine is able to cut the artery going through Tokmak (it is already almost never used, due to the approaching front), and deprives the russian Black Sea fleet of transport capabilities, then this, in fact, creates a kind of A2AD zone (anti-access and area denial - access denial zone) for russian logistics. And without fuel (and regular supply of ammunition, medical supplies, equipment, etc.) it is very difficult to fight, to put it mildly. Rommel won't let you lie.
