The Russian Helicopter pilot who fled to Ukraine,Helicopter included,has been found shot dead in a car park in Spain.

Within Patriot range of the front line, I think?

I would speculate Ukraine has taken a decision to risk Patriots near the front line for the benefit of taking out all the the Russian aircraft shot down recently.

Of course, I know fuck all, so may be wildly off beam!

No you're right - they're pushing batteries towards the front line on occasion to take out Russian aviation dropping glide bombs (to keep the Russians on their guard).

I thought the Patriot range Ukraine was given was 40km???
More than happy to be corrected though.
