I know we disagree on this but I think the west has made the right calls by escalating things slowly.

Agree with you on air defence systems though.
I woukd agree with you if Ukraine was given the air defence it needs, but it hasn't.
4 Skynex systems are great but the reality is they need 50+
Other similar systems are available - The modern equivalent if the Gepard.
The ranges of such system range from about 1.2 km to 5km

There doesn't seem to be anywhere near that many in existence to donate.

while I have no doubt we need to supply as much as possible there are realities of supply chains in a lot of this stuff.

Looks like Joint Standoff weapons are on the way. Plane dropped high precision bombs. 130km range and 500kg warhead.

not the best range compared to missiles but should be a significant upgraded punch. should be enough of a punch to take out the struts on the bridge if Ukraine are willing to risk F16's on the mission. should be launchable from quite far out into the black sea.
