Russians claiming the SU-34 that was shot down,was shot down by an F-16.

Highly unlikely. The Russian jet was shot down 50 km behind the front. That would be a hell of an attempt with the amram and probably a very stupid Russian fighter pilot. Another case of friendly fire is more likely. Russia has a history of blaming the west for own shortcomings.
