Russian invasion of Ukraine

According to South Korean intelligence, North Korea is participating in the war in Ukraine and plans to send 12,000 troops, including special forces, — Reuters.
"Participants ... concluded that the current situation, in which closer ties between Russia and North Korea, have gone beyond the movement of military supplies and reached the actual deployment of troops, poses a serious security threat not only to our country, but also to the international community, ” the statement says.

The big question for me now is, if this gets confirmed how long before South Korea start to send arms to Ukraine. Hopefully it will open the floodgates from them.

They have reportedly 3.4m 105mm shells stockpiled
I actually typed that South Korea will send weapons due to this...then deleted it,dunno why.

Don't think South Korea feel they are in a position to reduce their stockpiles...
3.4m sounds a lot, but 10k a day is 300k a month and then you know how much you need in a war vs the likes of ruzzia.

Thing with SK is they have a major military manufacturing base. they are selling loads of Poland for example so even if they dont dig too much into stock piles they can produce a lot pretty quickly.

They have a law in place tho that stops them supplying weapons to a warzone, so there's a lot of hoops to jump through legally to change that law.
