Russian invasion of Ukraine

Biden is a fucking coward he’s done this as a fuck you to Trump knowing he can now wash his hands of everything, **** should’ve done it ages ago and might have saved a lot of life.

It’s a lot more likely he’s done it in response to NK getting involved. There was a valid political reason not to do it before and there’s a valid political reason to do it now.

People forget that we have a nice big nuclear weapons target putin could attack.

Nukes are all they have should NATO decide to kick it up a gear. Trump will probably fuck off like the coward he is and leave Europe to get on with it should that occur.

I don’t think it quite works like that if a full scale Russia and NATO war happens, with the possibility of Nuclear weapons being fired by both sides. The whole world, including America will be affected. It will kill billions of people around the world, if not mankind itself.

Put it this way. You and me won’t be posting on Blue Moon if there are nuclear strikes on the UK by Russia.

Well, sadly, we either fight back now, or when the Baltics or Finland or Poland are attacked. Bullies don't stop till they are confronted.
Russia won’t attack the Baltics or Finland. Russia knows there will be an instant and massive NATO response. Fighting Ukraine, and fighting in Ukraine is a totally different matter.

It’s slowly escalating into a direct Russia and NATO war.

The rhetoric on here is admirable, but if that war happens there will be a lot of arse twitching on here, across Europe, Russia, and around the world.

All it takes is for Putin to order a missile strike on a NATO country or countries in retaliation. He’s capable enough, deluded enough, and mad enough to do that. And the next thing will be NATO missile strikes on Russia, and troops on Ukrainian soil, just as Putin predicted to the Russian people.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has previously warned Western nations against such a move, saying it would represent the Nato military alliance's "direct participation" in the Ukraine war.
He was yet to comment on Sunday's reports although other senior Kremlin politicians described it as a serious escalation.

Let's have it right: this isn't a Putin prediction, this is Putin's wont, if only to justify the whole bloody sh!tshow to gullible Russians. And while we're at it, it's irrelevant how many personnel and how much hardware Russia loses, he'll continue in the style he's become accustomed to: sharp suits, bulletproof cars and trains, and fancy palaces while many ordinary Russians scrabble around in poverty and send their sons to their deaths.

Putin's desperate. His much-vaunted army and Russian technology has been found to be, well, second division at best. To have to go cap-in-hand to his other psychopath mate, Kim Jong Un, is beyond embarrassing and it's doubtful that anyone will ever view the Russian military in the same way again.

Although Russia has got a greater nuclear capability, in terms of pretty much everything else, NATO have a much greater military capability in terms of personnel and hardware.

While the introduction of North Korea changes that, I wonder how committed Kim Jong Un is. Although he's got one of the biggest standing armies in the world, I suspect his resolve will drop off once the bodies start arriving back in Pyongyang. After all, it's not his war.

Iran have kept things at a distance so far, but they've now got their work cut out anyway in the Middle East. Like NK, much of their hardware is Russian manufactured so probably unreliable at best

And despite Putin's no limits partnership with China, I suspect there is a line that China won't cross as they know which side their bread's buttered with the West. Why jeopardise that?

Putin's totally mad but IMO he's not mad enough to fire directly on a NATO country IMO, given NATO's greater capability.

If they win in Ukraine they will - as sure as night follows day.
Did I say Putin is a Narcissus and a Phycopath too? Because he is. The personality mix is toxic.
He won't stop until he is stood up to or stopped.
Fortunately he is also totally rational but until he is stopped, he won't stop. If he perceives he can get a way with doing something, he will do it.
Only by stopping him in Ukraine will prevent a NATO vs Russian war because if you don't stop him now He will try it on later.

Watch Threads.(1984)

The iconic pre and post nuclear strike on Sheffield by Russia.

The special effects aren’t great, the acting is a bit wooden at times, but there’s no point in hiding behind the bedroom door and bed mattress propped against the wall before and after a nuclear strike.(by Russia) Death is 100% guaranteed. The cause of the nuclear war is the initial conflict with Iran.

The effect of a nuclear attack on Sheffield was calculated precisely by the makers of Threads, whose director Mick Jackson had previously worked on the grim 1982 BBC documentary, QED: A Guide to Armageddon. Such a one-megaton airburst would create shockwaves causing severe damage to buildings up to nine miles away.

Putin won’t attack NATO.

Putin wants Ukraine.

If Putin eventually gets Ukraine, he will be happy.

Exactly. (like given)

Especially since Russia’s armed forces have been severely depleted fighting in Ukraine.

Putin isn’t going to fight NATO, with NATO forces far superior in soldier and equipment numbers that stretch from Turkey to Finland.

Putin is mad, but he’s not that mad. Putin wants Ukraine, not a NATO country.
