There is also the huge issue of sanctions. How is that going to work? Are Europe going to be ‘forced’ to lift those too? And what about all the frozen assets? Are they simply going to be handed back? After all that’s been said and done?

There is no simple answer to this.

Is Ukraine really that important?

Well as they supply grain to a huge amount of the planet yes I guess they are, plus if they fall because Trump fucks them off the that gives Putin the go ahead to expand into smaller non NATO countries and gobble up their resources, plus the fact millions of people will be subjected to a tyrant, so ye it’s pretty important for freedom.
