Ryan Bertrand

Am I the only one who's bothered by the fact that there are little to no compilations of this guy on youtube, especially none by S****on or World of Football HD. I'm skeptical about this signing now.

He did have a good game actually, going in everyone thought he was going to be a massive weakness and he ended up doing very well although Lahm was played in a weird attacking role against him, not Robben which made his life a lot easier.

Not that his performances 5 years ago really matter to us buying him.

Thats what I couldn`t understand about the poster who at first claimed he didn`t play and then said he was shit.So what, as you point out,we`re not purchasing him from that one match.As the saying goes :

He was relatively young and was back-up to the best left back in premier league history, of course he's not going to have played many games.
You say he didnt play then say he didnt have a good game, how do you remember how he played if you think he didnt play?

Meh. Nonfussed if he is our second choice LB on 1 September. Would be above average in that aspect. Clearly not good enough to be our first XI left back.
 
Have been very impressed with him in the game so far. His crossing has been exceptional and he has dealt with everything defensively. Walker, on the other hand, has been very average.
