That's because the club is cash rich and no debt! Other clubs that I can think of with debt would insist on the cash up front and charge for other games.......

It's a decent gesture. Would be better still if they allowed monthly payments over day 9/10 months.

It's a great scheme although to improve it they could do it monthly and/or let you pay some and then the rest in instalments so as to get smaller instalments. Some people are never happy though and if they did that others would moan that it didn't work for them. Suppose you can't please all of the people, all of the time.
