Sack Le Tiss?

Yes, but why put it in your autobiography when its obviously illegal and could get you in trouble?
It was never going to get him in trouble and you now know that he has an autobiography on sale. Job done.

It happens with all these shite footballer books. One snippet of controversy drip fed to the papers. You buy the book and soon realise there's nothing more to it and you've just wasted 20 quid.

That's fucking stupid, makes you wonder what else he or toehrs get up to that hasn't been admitted to?

Hope they don't sack him though, he's a good pundit and a sound guy

It's a risk, but now he has retired there isn't much they can do about it.

Plus I'm sure he feels including will drum up a nice bit of publicity and sell more copies of his book. Players always have these amazing revelations in order to plug their autobiography's.

And even if he was sacked (which I hope he isn't) I'm sure he has enough pennies in the bank to keep a roof over his head!

I will be more suspicious next time a player kicks the ball out of touch straight from the kick off though, maybe they are not that rubbish after all...........

Roy Keane admitted to a premeditated attack and wasn't prosecuted by either the footballing authorities or the CPS.

This booting the ball out from the kick off thing was highlighted years ago on MOTD. Wimbledon were the masters of it

Should Sky sack Le Tissier after his betting revelation?

He did actually get fined 150k and banned for 5 games (although the c*nt was injured at the time and had an operation so it didn't have much of an impact).

that has gone on for years, not so much now its been cottoned on to, have seen it done on more than one occasion, i think ian bishop did the same thing while playing for west ham recieved the ball from the kick off then played it down the line into touch

I remember that! It was Paul Kitson though, I think.

In fairness, a look at Wikipedia reveals that Kitson was on £3,500 per week prior to moving to West Ham - a wage which required Newcastle to amend their pay structure in 1994. Hence, whilst it would be pointless for today's top-flight players to scam a few thousand, in the mid-nineties it was probably considered a nice little earner.

I would have done it. What's a throw-in matter? I doubt I'll buy Le Tissier's book though, unless there's a chapter about knocking-off Marilyn from Home & Away.

Was that after his autobiography admission?

Yes.
