Some fans will have come away dissapointed because they wanted their little Hughes out campaign to continue after the game.

I personally can't wait to see some more class Hughes signings come January!

Playing or watching? Be very careful here....

I have been pro Hughes since his appointment....dont see logic in getting rid and today was just great, think of what we will do when he has time to mould a team.....Hughes out fans (are they fans?) will be totally gutted we won today......sums them up really for me as they show no vision, no faith and seem t love it when we lose! what does it mean to be a CITY supporter? CTID and Ireland is a legend already!

Fucking idiot. I despise Hughes yet today I had a brilliant time and enjoyed every minute. Hughes is still shit and still has to be sacked but that will never come between the support I have for the players.

Yet again Hughes has been saved by the fact he has some superb individuals in the side that make a mockery of our league position.

I'll add you to the dossier of people who will deny they were anti Hughes in years to come..... Funny that those who used to boo the likes of Goater and Ireland are so hard to find these days!

Yet another person who can't differentiate between someone who doesn't rate the manager and a doom n gloom merchant who boo's the players/managers...there's a big difference. Hughes will never get us in the top 4 with the squad we have, I stand by that. If we so happen to buy th likes of Villa, Kaka, Buffon etc then he won't ever win us a league. They are the two targets with the different standard of players we may or may not have. I've said Hughes is a decent manager will do ok...even ok seems some way off at the moment and one win will not make me think any differently.

I agree, but nor would ANY manager because they aint good enough! I understand what you are getting at and I can differentiate between doom and gloomers and those who don't rate him. You may well be proved right, what I can not abide are those who have been anti hughes from day one and seem hell bent on him failing, it helps no one.
