..will fall out over this but if RM has to do it then he would have my support.

I don't understand why Shay gives an interview with the Sunday Times less than four weeks after he had a chance to go on loan and with three months before the next window. He can't go anywhere but the Championship and I don't think we will help with his wage.

Listen Shay. Get your arse in gear and put away your petty squabbles, please.

Totally agree with this. If he doesn't like it and doesn't want to stay then he should sod off without this constant carping.

But he should stay till we can get a suitable replacement we don't want to get caught like last season again.

Given will work and work hard but I think the tipping point for all of this was after Hart's game costing mistakes Given was sure and he said that he thought he'd play and Mancini played Hart, leaving Given knowing that no matter how good he is or how poor Hart is, no matter what he does, he wont get a game.

According to Given he wasn't allowed to leave in the window, two people saying different things here and I don't know, but Given's not one to cause a strop either. He'll work hard but it's clearly very demoralising to realise that no matter what he does it wont matter and he said to know what the manager thinks of him is frustrating because he's not done a lot wrong since he joined the club.
Can't help but agree with him on this. Mancini is leaving him out in the cold, he isn't rotating him and Hart which would only be fair, especially if we're forcing him to stay, he deserves a go and a chance to fight for his place. I think Mancini is dealing with this really badly.

I don't know what Mancini is thinking on this one but there is no reason why Given and Hart cannot play. Given plays in the cups and Hart in the league.

It will keep both happy.

Given is too good to just stay on the bench. All clubs give second choice goalkeepers in the cup. Why can't Mancini see that Given is a top class goalkeeper and could be a tiger in cup games?

He is already into rotation and CB will rotate so why not the goalkeepers.

Gone are the days where the likes of Joey Barton pick the team via the tabloids.

Mancini is the Manchester City manager-not Shay Given or Craig Bellamy.
Shay's done well at the club, and was unfortunate to lose his place to Hart.
But the fact is that Hart potentially has 20 years as City and England no.1 in front of him-and Shay's best years are behind him whether he likes to admit it or not.
Hart is our no.1,Shay is understandably upset. We are in a unique situation in that we have two of the best keepers in the league, and only one can start.

Shay has spent the best part of his career as the "main man"...it must be difficult to accept that isn't the case anymore.

But it's a team game, and there are no "automatic places" at City.

Shay has to accept that he's met his match, get his head down, stop moaning and get on with doing the job he's incredibly well paid and fortunate enough to do.

woah, woah woah, you mean the one mistake in 8 matches?

When Hughes was sacked, there was rumours that several players went to Garry Cook to voice their opinions. Along with Bellamy, I'm pretty sure Given was one of them.

Another of Hughes' men, Santa Cruz, appears to have been frozen out.

We have to back RM on this one. Can't have anyone undermining him.
