Sadly Franny Lee & Colin Bell still not talking ?

They are talking and I've witnessed them dining together several times. I know Franny and his family and despite their differences in the past Franny says they are on good terms again now.

Agree really sad- though I think we will all have worked with someone we don't like. The King and Franny are both still loved by me though along with the greats mentioned earlier

Simon if they're talking then thats great news..........just that there have been a few get togethers of old players on the pitch but only one has ever been there without the other.

However, if they have buried the hatchet then thats great news............

Also wasnt TC at a game a few months ago.........legend

From a fanzine a few years back (10 to 15 years), I seem to remember that a couple of blues had met TC on a train in Oz. He said he loved the life over there, he was doing refuse collection at the time if my memory serves me right.

Similar thing with Bobby and Jack Charlton.

They refuse to do functions together, and they refuse to sign any autographed England photographs either!

If one signs the photo... then the other doesn't!

Bizarre.

Eh?

Have I missed something?

Simon doesn't even mention the Charltons...

Lee, Bell and Summerbee all walked across the pitch together before a game last season. I don't think Lee and Bell were the greatest of pals anyway as they are completely differing characters, however any 'bad blood' I think has since been buried.

I must have misinterpreted your post as it seems to me to imply that the rift between FL & CB is ongoing.

The Charlton fallout was because Bobby disrespected his mother at the behest of his wife, rather dissimilar in my book.

Strangely enough, after Simon's comment, spacecadet made a comment... yet you waited until I make a comment about the Charlton's and then pick me up on it!

And the similarities with Bell and Lee and the Charltons is the fact there has been a fall-out... the reasons for it are obviously not going to be the same!

But thanks, nevertheless, for telling me that their relative disputes were different. And here was I thinking Bell and Lee had fallen out over a funeral...

Scary.
