Good signing if it happens but would personally have liked to see a younger player coming in. It's been a spot that we needed to strenghten and he will no doubt do that.

This will help our academy RB's to hopefully develop into the young player you want in a few years.

Ignoring the wages and possibly a signing on fee it's a great deal for us and him.

He's used to playing in big games home and abroad and wouldn't I'd hope be moaning to be behind Zaba as he'd know the score before he came.

As a bonus also someone else to piss off Wenger and the Tarquins.

Those who didn't want him before...with these FFP sanctions do you now realise how good this signing is for us for the next 2-3 years especially on a free? A top player to cover Zabba and the other defensive positions and allows us to spend the 50m + sales on improving positions we really need to improve.
