Nico O'Reilly for me, James McAtee hadn't been that good in the first half for me, yes neat and tidy, but not involved enough. Doku was Doku, good in bits, not good in bits. Grealish was OK too.

The thing that tempers it all, Salford were shite for the most part, I expected better to be honest.
 
Hard not to say any player that scores a hattrick but doku terrified them every time he got on the ball and seemed like he could just run through the entire team at will. 2 goals and 2 assists, he'd have had a hattrick of both had he stayed on for thr full 90.
 
Loved seeing O’Reilly and McAtee doing the post match interview together. Hope to see much more of them! You could argue for either of them as Motm, or Doku, but I’d give it to Nico cause I like him.

Haha, good in bits? Ok it was against Salford but if we’re just going off the actual match you’d struggle to find many better performances from a winger. In 70 minutes he was the best on the pitch by a mile. 2 great assists, beating players for fun and scored 2. Nice for McAtee to get his hatrick 2nd half and motm but Doku destroyed them when they were still fresh 1st half and early 2nd.
 
Nunes was outstanding and played the RB role much better than Rico. Khusanov playing at CB might afford Pep the opportunity to play him there more
 
O’Reilly really impressed me with his tackling and coming away with ball and driving forward capped off with a good goal. Doku though was instrumental in rubbing the fake rag noses in it. If only Neville was there to hear and see the game and high regard in which we hold him
 
Got to be McAtee but Nunes had a good game as did the Count, Ghoulish improved in the second half but is still a shadow of his former self, O'Reilly had a good game at fullback, didn't realise how tall he was, and Mubama showed promise with some really good runs. Pity he didn't win a penalty as the headlines would have written themselves, Penalty for Divin being my personal choice

How did you think Doku played?
 
Reality check time.....fair play, for a hatrick albeit when 4-0 up and game is over, bigger picture, totally anonymous in first half , these are games the 'fringe players' need to be a class above for 90mins to start Prem games.
Docku, Nunes, O'reilly, Grealish were streets ahead.
Over 90mins, O'reilly probably best player on the pitch.
