Even though this was a poor opposition I think it still showed that with a few more additions this is a great squad

I honestly think Nunes could be great if trusted with more of the ball. Same with Grealish if kept and played in the middle. Same with Doku if trusted to grow into a big role. Etc etc. All did well.

And then the kids that are well able. O'Reilly was a monster. McAfee 2nd half was great.

Hopefully our days of stale play are soon over.

You have to take that with a grain of salt, given the opposition, but there are still a lot of positives. McAtee is the obvious highlight of the academy players, but I thought O'Reilly was brilliant, bar that one moment at the end, given that he was out of position. He's got a great combo of pace and size. My only criticism of him in the pre-season tour was his work rate.

If we sell Macca, I'll be absolutely gutted.
