Salford City (H) | Post Match Thread

I think the Salford board messed up. By taking 5000 tickets, with an average attendance of around 2500, they isolated the families from Salford. On three tiers the kids may have joined in with the Poznan, had a fun day with no animosity, yes probably lost, but a family football day.
The Salford board made it about them v City, - a couple of thousand rags singing shite, City fans singing anti rag songs all game… all because Neville and Co thought they could punch above their weight. At 3000 tickets, the rest would have been sold, they would have earned just as much, and they would have avoided the shite that the departing rags could have caused, but they pissed off early.
Thanks Neville & Co, u did your club damage rather than good.

What was the deal with Giggs being on the touchline? Does he do that for all games or was it just because he was on the telly?

Also, the "92" on the jacket of your manager - I can't imagine he decided himself to wear that so if it's a line of merchandise being pumped my that ghastly lot, does it piss you off?
Ryan Giggs is Director Of Football but has been acting as an assistant to Karl Robinson since October of last year, a position that he has occupied for the last 18 games (including the cup tie at the Etihad) having initially come in to fill a void left by the departure of one assistant and a family bereavement to his replacement.

I'm curious about the '92' emblem as he doesn't normally have that on his top as it's not the official club badge. Can only think that he might have been wearing a Foundation 92 top which is the trademark for the registered charity of Salford City FC that is involved with local youth and the community. There isn't any club merchandise for sale bearing the '92' emblem but to be honest there's a lot more that would piss me off than seeing that such as VAR, cheating, diving, feigning injury, shithouse defending, electronic ticketing, rip off admission /food prices, football pundits and commentators to name but a few. I will however never get over having our colours changed from tangerine and black to red and white when the Class Of 92 acquired (not bought) our club back in 2014!

He thought that was the worst result of his football career!

There are some mistakes on the Manchester Derby wilkipedia’s page:

It should be 62 city wins with the largest victory City 8 United 0 (2025). Someone needs to change it…:).
