The Salford keeper on loan from Sunderland was born in 2006. Only just 18. Looks like a promising young English keeper.
I agree. Could be a banana skin this, especially if we play a side cobbled together with inexperienced youth and experienced players who need a rest. Salford may be huge underdogs but they will be up for it as they are on a good run having won their last 5 games. If they play their strongest side they could cause us problems because they'll know aot more about our weaknesses than we do theirs. This is a tricky one if we go all out 2nd string. It's a bit damned if I do and damned if Pep don't. If he plays 2nd string and we lose he gets pelters from everywhere. If he plays a strong team and we get more injuries then again he gets pelters from everywhere . Please start with a 2/3rds first 11, tell the team to make no silly mistakes and take their chances and we'll be good to rest a few after 60/70 mins. 4-1 again.
It’ll be funny hearing them chant ‘come on City’ hahareckon half that will be ushited fans.
All day long. I think there's a few we need to rest like Ake, Kev and possibly Bernardo, maybe one or two others. But play a strong spine and we should be OK.I agree. Although we should win Pep needs to be pragmatic and respectful and pick a balanced side with enough experience and drive to get the job done.
That proposed midfield and our current 1 man midfield are a bit light weight and lacking in legs and in a tackle??!!Ederson
