I have been flitting between Tameside and Salford but thankfully all my notes are being switched entirely to Salford. Pleased about that.

Best hospital by a proverbial mile.
Had 2 ops at Hope, one on my brain, one on my neck. Neurosurgeons were brilliant (Messrs Leggate and Holland), pre and post op care brilliant, follow up care in the months after brilliant.
Am on the mailing list as a Friend of Salford Royal and make regular donations to Macmillan who really cared for me whilst there.
This hospital deserves all the support it can muster.

Hopefully. No real problems with tameside till they messed up on a biopsy.
Try and avoid appointments before 10am. Roads round there are a nightmare till after half 9. Good luck.

We get a lot of shit in Salford (and rightly so with this many rag cnuts living here) but Hope Hospital (Salford Royal) is second to none!
My sister is the youngest ever Matron in the country, she now works at MRI but learnt her trade at Hope!, and my missis is also a nurse on Orthopidics there (both big blues)!
Salford gets a lot of shit (which is justified in a lot of cases)!
but that hospital is one thing we can be proud of!
