Salty reactions from other fans and the media

Not sure if Ewan MacKenna, (Irish freelance journalist living in Brazil, sometimes writes for NYTimes!), has committed libel with his salty tweets?:

"That some Manchester City fans see this as a game, and come after journalists who have tried to highlight the mass murder of their backers and board shows just how far they've gone and been indoctrinated. That CAS ruling isn't a point back or suddenly making the above alright..."

Followed by:

"Just thinking, Manchester City fans would have loved the OJ Simpson trial. Didn't matter that he was clearly guilty, as long as you can make sure the evidence isn't allowed into the trial, that's the important part and you stroll out with no consequences with blood on your shoes."

Calling @projectriver .

Just listening to some scouser in talk sport crying saying all the other champions league teams should pull out and refuse to play is as PSG.

‘Gone and been indoctrinated’? Lovely bit of writing- if you’re semi-literate.
If anyone was responsible for making sure that ‘evidence isn’t allowed into the trial’ Then he should be looking at uefa’s foot dragging over the time limitations. They had plenty of time to get their case in before any limits but, I believe, they deliberately missed deadlines for the very purpose of leaving doubts about guilt and technicalities because they knew that they were never going to win on the substantive issues.

what a wonderful thread.it is however a waste of time unless the club take action against them. at the very least they or their employers should never set foot in our stadium again.
Agree Bill. I think the club really need to listen to the fans and understand how much it really pisses us off to hear a load of shite being written about the club, only for the perpetrator to be at pressers or the game. I hope the club treat this ruling as a watershed moment against those who denigrate the club at every opportunity.
