He's good at what he does, ie, keeping struggling teams on the gravy train with his brand of dour, defensive hoofball, but as a "top" manager, why haven't the better teams come running for his services? (Quite possibly because football has moved on, and his tactics are a throwback to the 70s/80s)

He is limited but nowt wrong with being good at what you do. There are plenty of football managers around who seem to be absolutely terrible at what they do and plenty more who it seems like tossing a coin as to whether they are going to do a good job at a particular club or not.
