Sam Jones the youth team player

It's amazing how many cry babies come on here opening up new threads because their boss has told them off, or worse still they've been sacked and wail to the world about the injustice

The same sad folk who want a 15 year old hung drawn and quartered

Changing tack to an adult and their responsibilities is hardly an equal argument, but again to be expected from those carrying pitch-forks when mob mentality rules
Can't we just sack him off for doing stupid hand gestures? 'Ya ge me blud'?

I'd quitely bin him off in the summer, but make it clear to others his age that you do not fuck about at this club, or this is what happens.

We need to develop a culture at this club where everyone is pulling in the same direction, and this should come from the bottom up.

I know a lad who is in city's youth team and the mentality is meant to be you are representing the club 24/7, in EVERYTHING that you do.

This. Spot on

He's a 15 year old kid.

IF you were signed by United(or any other rival) as a 15 year old kid would you stop supporting City??

Grow up.

It's got nothing to do with who you support. He could have celebrated quietly, instead he has to rub his employers, and the fans, noses in it because he has no respect for us. He clearly thinks he's bigger than we are.

Do you think United would put up with that? Not a chance.

You do realise that if we 'sacked him' that lot over the road would sign him up with a huge PR stunt. You can see Fergie there with him pitchside at the swamp on the back of the MEN.

As a fan I think he's an arse (but let's get this right, most footballers are) it's all about what's good for City and it's fans.

PS Don't get all that hand gesture crap. It just make you look thick and stoopid

Mike, I don't think there is anything sinister in his motives. He celebrated a goal (As much as we all hated it). I believe he only signed for the club a couple of months back, he just uses social media like others kids.

He made a mistake and I'm sure he an others will learn from it. No need for a whitchhunt.

How would it be if say Aguero or Richards had tweeted something similar? Would you want (or trust) them to represent our club?
Yeah, cos that's exactly the same thing. Get a grip FFS

City fans could be a bitchey whinney bunch! He is a kid for fuck sake. Let him scream Rooney at the top of his lungs all he wants. That is what kids do. He's job is to play for CIty, who he supports is nobodies business really. Sure it looks bad that he publicly celebrated, and he has been told by the management and has appologized.

Let it fucking go.! If he is as good as the other 15 yearolds, I hope some dumb management personell doesn't take it personally and bin the kid, like some whiney supporters here are suggesting.

What a bunch of dolts! :(
