Found not guilty
Found not guilty
The word she seemed to love throwing around "privilege."Swap the word white for black or other such words and she would be found guilty. How on earth has she been found not guilty?
She wasn't on trial for mentioning race. She was on trial for racially aggravated harassment. Clearly the jury didn't believe the cop involved when he said he felt "shocked, upset and humiliated". I have to say, regardless of what kind of person I think Sam Kerr is, I don't don't believe that policeman felt that way either.odd conclusion for me. If you call someone an idiot then you think they are an idiot - call someone (insert skin colour here) Idiot then for me you introduce a race element
Can you have a workable law based on the sensitivities of the victim rather than the offence? She wasn't on trial for mentioning race. She was on trial for racially aggravated harassment. Quite right knew she would get away with it!!! If the shoe was on the other foot no chance!!!soft left judge and I am sure our dear politicians were involved on getting her off!!The word she seemed to love throwing around "privilege."

“Stupid and white”Found not guilty
Not a good look for a supposed role model of Australian sport. She may have been found not guilty in the eyes of the law but does not come out of this smelling of roses.May have been found Not Guilty but the whole case was a PR disaster - came across as very self entitled and generally a right nasty piece of work.
She doesn't but life won't change drastically for her, if at all, I'd imagineNot a good look for a supposed role model of Australian sport. She may have been found not guilty in the eyes of the law but does not come out of this smelling of roses.

“Stupid and white”
“Stupid and black”
Should both be dealt with in the same way… But are they?
