odd conclusion for me. If you call someone an idiot then you think they are an idiot - call someone (insert skin colour here) Idiot then for me you introduce a race element

She wasn't on trial for mentioning race. She was on trial for racially aggravated harassment. Clearly the jury didn't believe the cop involved when he said he felt "shocked, upset and humiliated". I have to say, regardless of what kind of person I think Sam Kerr is, I don't don't believe that policeman felt that way either.odd conclusion for me. Evidently not. The CPS originally said the case didn't meet the threshold for prosecution and then changed their mind 10 months after event when the officer made a second statement where he made those claims.

I can understand she was saying "you are white hence priveleged" but that defence has set a precedent that will be exploited. Fkin idiots, just making it worse down the line, for all.

She's hardly covered herself in glory but it's a bigger PR disaster for the Met in my opinion. Terrible policing from start to finish. Lies told in aftermath, decisions taken that escalated the situation and decisions taken that put civilians in the way of harm.

I’m trying to think what the outcome would be if I went out later, found someone of a different colour skin to me and said what she said, with that persons skin colour at the end of the sentence.
