Samaras, Jo and Santa Cruz

put Santa cruz in the box and put the ball on his head and he will find the net 9 times out of 10
With our crossers, how often is that going to happen?

Nothing to choose between them.

What do you base this on? Watching him at the front of a frighteningly poor City attack in a couple of games? Hardly fair is it? I've said it elsewhere, he's been a LONG way from our poorest attacker in the games he's been on.

or the midfield, tactics and team set-up that is (or in most cases is not) geared-up to exploit their abilities.

Sorry but there comes a time when we need to start wondering why so many so called decent forwards start to go backwards wearing the hallowed jersey.

Thats exactly the problem and Gleghorn pointed it out last night. We play passing football and he is suited to the football Hughes played at Blackburn using Bentley and Warnock to supply him

He's so immobile we'd have to carry him into the area.

Sure you're looking at the right player? I was astonished at one point on Sturday at just how quickly he made ground on a hoof up.

He looks really slow to me, perhaps it's that funny way he runs. He certainly doesn't look to be worth anything like £17m

Some of you dont half piss me off!! I will never hold a grudge on any of you but come the fuck on!!!

Samaras was wank! We all know that : )

Jo, I think has potential and still has a lot to prove but i think he is capable of becoming an established player in the prem!!

Now Roque!! Some of you are judging him from his first few games with us and nearly all of his games with Blackburn! He is a quality player when he wants to be and is capable of becoming a good player for us! I have seen him when i have gone down to watch training and he does show signs of brilliance. He needs to get a bit faster and fitter maybe and get working on vis visual awareness inside the box and Hughes needs to give him ONE position where he can play in the game and then Roque can learn and adapt to that role!

I think that, If a manager just gives each player one position, The players can learn and adapt to that position. If players are playing in a differant position every game then they will find it hard to play there natural way. Obviously some players have more than one position but you see where i am coming from?
