Sami Nasri

The bitter Arsenal fans re-emerge after two highly impressive performances by Samir.

When will we quit that middle of the table team mentality? Any player with a good name and some popularity in the media and he's the best player in the world.

You can't seriously be the first team in the Premier League, be hoping to win the Champions League next season and, at the same time, say that those performances were highly impressive. Only the second one was merely satisfactory, especially when you have Silva, Touré, Aguero, Dzeko or Kompany playing alongside.

Well, well, well.

No posts lately from Nasri hater ''HalaSilva'' who after 16 turgid posts, seems to have stopped telling us how shit Samir is.

Haven't seen Calcio say too much lately either about how poor he thinks Nasri is.

A few others here and there, but glad to see more and more City fans coming round.

Keep it up, Samir - what was that Roberto said about you?

Oh yes, that's it: ''Samir is a Champion''.

I think you might soon have the medal to show the imbeciles, Samir. ;o)

Despite the somewhat laughable "MoM" award on Sunday, I thought he was pretty average if I'm honest, something I've thought him to be on most occasions since he signed.

I'm sure he'll improve, but he's short of where we need him to be at the moment in my opinion.

He is getting better game by game, he has to start against stoke and keep building his confidence. some of his through balls have been inches off being perfect, when he finds his range hel be on par with silva for opening games up.

Agreed, the announcement of the stadium MoM was definitely a "WTF??" moment. I thought his passes were overhit too often against Arsenal but like any new player he needs time to settle. I'd also like to see him shoot more often when he gets into good positions, he still has that Arsenal "walk it in" habit.

Some of Sami's interchanging passes, especially with Silva are lock openers.

He split Arsenals defence wide open on two occasions second half, and also made the pass to Balo which led to the goal.

Certainly been having better performances last 3 or 4 games.but I dont buy into this "needs time to settle" bollocks

People are talking as though he has just arrived from a foreign country, and needs to adapt to the prem pace etc etc,he was with Arsenal and played over 80 games !! Not to mention 25 plus caps for his country....settle in my arse, should hit the ground running

As I say these last few weeks we are seeing the Nasri that we have witnessed over the last few years, when he ripped fuck out of us last season for instance, that seems to be coming back intio his game...I am looking for inspiring performances from him between now and end of the season anyway

i trust bobbys opinion on the players if he thinks hes good enough then so do i. i think hes getting better and better every game can play in a few different positions etc wont be long before we see the best out of him though i dont think he will play on wednesday milner will be in
