Samir Nasri interview

There is more, the interview was a long one.
Says his only regret in football is leaving City, but loved working with Sampaoli at Sevilla .
Says Pep told him he was at Barca level but played for City because he loved money. Samir responded by asking Pep if he was in Manchester for the beautiful weather .:)
and pep replied “ I came for rain dripping on my bald head ;) but stayed for the trophies , do you like dripping by any chance ;);) ?”

I think it’s fair to say that Pep works A LOT harder for his money than Samir did

The more I hear about Mancini, the less I wish I heard about Mancini. Shame he's such a **** but I guess not all club legends are likeable people.
Will always love Mancini, but when it was being reported that Kompany of all people was clashing/having issues with him (I think around the time of the Wigan final...), that was pretty eye opening

Oh god, the Mancini lovers heads are going to spin off again. That might be the whole squad now who’ve gone public on what a dick he was.
The beauty is whether through timing, good management or pure luck, all those players that slate him, very few had better career spells than under his stewardship..............

I quite enjoyed the part where the squad invited Mancini to fuck himself and play alone next to Yaya in the next match. Excellent retort!
A small group of us got absolutely hammered for years on this forum for reporting that this stuff was happening. Notice he said that the whole squad went to see Khaldoon to ask for his sacking too. We were totally rubbished from all corners.

Just thought I’d mention it. Some of you know who you are ;-)

There's only 3 things you need to know about Mancini - he won us the Premier League, the FA Cup and Community Shield.

Just in case anyone forgot, we'd not won these for decades before he came.

I do think Pep would've made Nasri into a great player though. He had all the attributes Pep likes - technically good, kept the ball, intelligent and could pass. I'm not sure he could handle being told what to do though.

It's a great interview though and I can imagine if you've got a dressing room with Mancini, Zaba, Kompany, Hart, Yaya, De Jong, Tevez and the likes it's not going to be a quiet one. They weren't passing tea and cakes around at full time and from what I can gather, other great sides were exactly the same. Our team was packed full of winning personalities and thank God they were - a lesser team would've lost to Newcastle away, lost to United at home etc.

Thanks Nasri though, you were brilliant at times and got us that 2nd goal to beat Sunderland in the League Cup final.

I always thought Mancini was emotional/highly strung, but I never realised what a twat he was to the players - surprised we won anything and it didn't just all implode.
