Samir's that day, along with Yaya's, are two of the best goals I have ever had the pleasure to witness live.

I was just to the right of the goalpost, above the flag you can see as Nasri curls it in (on the left from the video). Perfect view of both goals, it was bedlam!

Loved Nasri's time with us. Didn't really reached the heights he showed the season before he left Arsenal, but overall he did his part in our trophy wins.

Back when Pep just joined, I thought Nasri would've been perfect for him, ability-wise. Unfortunately, discipline wasn't exactly Nasri's strong suit, though I still sometimes wonder what Pep could bring out of him.

As others have said, what an odd thread to start up now. Not especially comfortable with threads that look like a piss-take of one of our former players tbh.
Not a full shot but he doesn’t look especially enormous there.

Him, Toure and Silva weaved some incredible magic for us, I’ve never seen the like before or since.

Loved Samir when he was here. Gutted Pep didn’t want to try and work with him, think he would’ve excelled.

Anybody who puts essentially tells Arsenal to fuck off then smiles with a PL trophy wrapped in blue ribbons is a winner to me.

His "I knew I made the right decision" interview after the Aguero game was brilliant.

Really got under the Tarquins skin

I definitely agree. I loved watching his football even when he was at Arsenal. But as good as he could be he could of been up there with Yaya David imo.

Very skilled player. Very difficult to get the ball off. His combination goal with Tevez against Chelsea is a thing of beauty.

Yep. The reaction of the crowd is very interesting, when he's brought on. It's an almost exact mix of boos and cheers. Very strange.
Just watched the highlights back. It also strikes me how boiling the atmosphere at the Etihad was in those last few games. No problem of atmosphere then. We weren't glutted with winning… We have become fat with trophies.

I have to agree, at least, to a certain extent, with what I heard on the TV coverage of one our games a few months ago.

We, as a supporter base, have become so used to the beautiful football and winning most games that it’s very difficult to generate any sort of atmosphere at Etihad nowadays.
