Well this is an odd one. I got to this page because I was Googling George Greenall. A couple of hours ago I was walking through Bramhall Park with my wife and we got chatting to an old chap, who was 86. He was wearing a City cap, so we were talking about City and he asked if I’d heard of George, because a few of them get together to watch the matches on TV and one of the gang is a lady who used to be married to him. Small world.

Spoke to my sister today and we had both come to the same conclusion as to who it was. I have only met him a couple of times when I used my sister’s season ticket. There were three of them who had season tickets next to each other. When they gave up their season tickets due to difficulties getting to evening matches as they got older they met when they could at each other’s homes to watch games. At other times my sister, my daughter and I meet up on FaceTime to watch matches.
Anyhow my sister will enjoy asking our man in Bramhall Park about his meeting last week.
