Brandt is the person who's done for Leroy, not Mario Gomez.

It's basically going to be Reus, Ozil, Brandt, Muller, Goretzka & Draxler competing for 3 spots behind the striker (Werner or Gomez).

Sané played awfully vs. Austria, as he has done for quite a lot of his recent Germany games where he looks like a bit of a loner out on that wing and doesn't fit in very well. On the other hand Brandt was good, and I guess that sealed his fate.
