I was on holiday so unfortunately missed the match, I've seen his goal which was pretty good, but how did he get on?

Fair to say he hasn't looked too great, due to fitness admittedly, in his few appearances so far so its good to see he played the full 90 mins.

Cheers

Played well, took his goal well, but obivously tired towards end.
To be honest I think Hughes well play him and Adebayor together when he's fully fit, so they can both
help out from set-peices in the air defencely.

Got MOM award... he was good...

..but my MOM was Carlito... how many times did he chase down situations where the average pro would hve trotted away.. e.g. back passess to the gaolie...

This little apache forced error after error out of the Scunny defence just by getting in their faces.... why TF can't the rest of the team adopt this 'close 'em down' mentality,I just dunno ?

I think he did okay, he played the whole game and got a goal, it's all good :) I wouldn't say he stood out though, maybe there's still alot to come from him ?

He did well to score , although maybe their goalkeeper should really have saved it ..... certainly their fans thought he should have!

He still looks a bit 'rusty' , but with more games should come better fitness .

It beats me how anyone of a 'red' persuasion can have a go at RSC ...... it's not as if he's not banged in a few goals against their lot , is it?

Including this one on their very own patch!

very nice, is'nt that Mike D just next to the near post?

In all honesty I was very surprised he got MoM.

He seemed well short of fitness. I thought he was often a yard or two behind the play and seemed to lack a feel for the game. I particularly remember a ball played into space by SI and RSC just stood and did not move.

Another instance where he got the ball at feet and tried to turn and could not get a shot off on target. I just felt that Adebayor would have scored from the same position. I also thought that the chances created Caicedo would have scored more than RSC did on the night.

The header was fine and, obviously, good to se him score. Needs some games to sharpen up before January.

Anyway, this is just my perception. Clearly others (incl MEN) thought he did a pretty good job.
