Im not sure what you mean...NI is reliant on GB financially and would be reliant on RoI as well (although there are a few papers/reports that suggest it would be financially beneficial to both NI and RoI in the event of a United Ireland, but thats another conversation.

There wouldnt be any financial incentive to being independent...we're too small a country and we havent had a Govt for 2 and a half years, how the feck are we gonna rule ourselves?????

Quite simply, in relation to the union there are 2 desires....to be either British or Irish. Full Stop.

The GFA isn't immune to the sands of time or the whims of the people it serves.

I would hope that there comes a time when the GFA is irrelevent because old wounds have healed and grievances eventually die.

A romantic ideal i know...
Romantic yes....but i hope the same. However the partisan nature of politics here wil mean the GFA will always be a reference point and no further negotiation or reassessment would be "allowed" from one side or another.
