With my seats taken up by some southern red scum ive had to move seats from my normal 116. Me and bro are in the 3rd tier of the east stand, near the corner to the away fans. Quite looking forward to my new view. Whats everyone else's experience? good view? or will i struggle. Im guessing its going to be bitterly cold.

Hopefully it wont be like wembely when i was that far away i thought John Terry was playing and it turned out to be Jermaine Jenas

I was sat there for the Hull thrashing last year. The view up there is fantastic and we were right in line with the 18 yard box so great for offsides and stuff. The atmosphere was pretty tame up there for that match, but I imagine the whole place will be rocking on Wednesday and you're near all the rag bastards, so should be even better.

Well they're both human males, close enough.

i was there for hamburg and hughesy's last game top view. hamburg atmosphere was fantastic(expect sf to be similiar) stoke game was like a morgue. i'm sure the atmosphere around the whole ground will be very good.

btw im in row fecking a in the north stand, for this 1!

yeh i could have had right at the front on lower tier or right at the back on upper. I sit near the front with my season ticket so thought i would mix it up a bit. Looking forward too it now.

Best view ive had is in the east stand middle tier. A nice couple gave me and my mate free tickets cause we looked like decent blokes. Even tho i had a season ticket. Great view, and it also prompted me to move from the north stand to somewhere with better atmoshpere. It last game of the season against fulham where they pulled it back and won.

I agree with Dubai - The view is far better for all the geeky stuff... Watching the play of the whole team, formations, off the ball runs etc and I reckon the derby atmosphere will make it all the way up there!!

It better had do, cos thats where I'll be!

My season ticket is on The Colin Bell Stand 3rd Tier, and the atmosphere can be a bit crap at times (despite the noise that me and my mates try and generate), but the view is fantastic! I'm sure the whole of the stadium will be rocking though on Wednesday, so you've got nothing to worry about. Like one of the previous posts said, The Hamburg match (last season) and The Chelsea match (this season) were ear spliting so here's hoping....... CTID.

Terrific view from the third tiers , i spend half my life up there!

It can certainly lack in atmosphere up there though , unless for the big games ...... but there's no denying that the view is second to none!

i can't believe how many people post questions about various views around coms,i'm a season ticket holder in 219 south stand but i'v sat everywhere around coms, the 2 side views up in the gods (east stand and colin bell ) are awesome, they are fantastic views and so easy to understand how a game is panning out, albet very quiet, don't worry, the view is superb and i suspect the atmosphere too on weds

I sit mostly in south stand but when unavailable i've sat in North stand lower tier, west stand 2nd tier & east stand 2nd tier (above 111). Im further on in east lower this time, I dont really like to move around much as I enjoy the atmosphere in the south stand and not being told to sit down!

117 on an Eaststand tour again....

I love the top tier. Definitely the best view in the stadium.

When there's a good atmosphere it's the best place in the stadium to experience it. The sound rolls around the stadium like a wave.
