Hi, after some advice. I'm getting rid of sky just before the new season kicks off so looking at what other options are available for the premiership.

Maybe looking at getting a SkyBox F5, Apple TV2 or even subscribing to a pay streaming site?

What does everybody else use?

I would suggest the person/people who gave you advice on getting rid of Sky should have told you about another option ?

Although they are tossers they cannot be beaten on coverage,I wouldn't swap it for the world, football, cricket, darts, rugby, horse racing, formula 1,golf,tennis,just cannot be beaten

They do what they say on the tin,HD in more channels than Bransons dodgy mob anyway

I have got to agree, yes it's expensive, but you get what you pay for,ie....a lot of sports, movies and lots of other channels for all tastes.

Thanks. I'd love to keep sky to be honest but I just cant justify the cost it at the moment. I'm a season ticket holder anyway so just want access to away games etc really.

Cut the chord myself a while ago and have never looked back. If its just sports your after get yourself a chromecast (£30) you can then stream whatever you want from chrome browser to your tv. Can also be used to stream Netflix. You could also get yourself a now tv box (£10) so you can get the decent sky channels for £4.99 a month plus the ability to get sports day passes, there is always deals on line for the passes so very rarely pay the full price. If you invest a bit more in a roku streamer this will have now tv, Netflix and PLEX plus they are always adding apps.

If you like your movies/American TV and are ITK about downloading (?) PLEX is superb for streaming from your main PC/Laptop to the roku box. PLEX also has a lot of "secret" channels on it so you can watch most of the UK and some international channels via a PLEX stream.

They did have Justin TV on there at one point as an app so you could get the games but the quality wasn't great.

I pay £4.99 for Now tv, plus £5.99 for Netflix and use a chromecast for streaming, Im saving £50 per month on sky by doing that and missing nothing!

Good luck

I ditched sky for bt. Get it installed in a couple of weeks .

For the same price i was payin for sky iv got infinity 2, land line and bt sport . Iv also got a good package with bt that includs ss 1 and 2 , movies, boxsets, music etc. Had no broadband with sky so really happy with the bt deal .

Am i right in thinkin bt have champs league games after this season ? .

The only sports i watch are football and boxing. So couldnt careless if i dont get horse racing, darts etc

It felt good tellin the pratt from sky to do one.
