Dont want to put a downer on overall another great night with 11 good performances. But bobby's first test is Everton away. A hard game at the best of times and they are another team who have hit form. A fixture we normally struggle in so saturday will be a good indication of how far we've come. I'd settle for a point in honesty. C'mon city!!!

A point at that shit hole would have me thinking deffo Champs league , win there and I'm sorry but we could win this bloody league. Thats how I think about this game

I agree Everton will be a stern test on Saturday. However, to say that it is Mancinis first test is rubbish. In a very short space of time he has transformed a disparate bunch of individuals into a TEAM. Can you honestly say that we would have won these games under the previous regime. Especially with the injuries and acn absentees. He is doing a sterling job and I will expect him to do the same with his team against the toffees. Not only did we win comfortably tonight, we did it without really moving out of second gear. Thus preserving the fitness of the team / squad for when we do have to move up another gear or two. Under Hughes we may or may not have won tonight, but you can guarantee the players would have crawled off the pitch absolutely knackered with a niggle or injury here and there and we would most probably have got a point. Its not just about running around like headless chickens.

They seem to be finding their feet, but so do we! I would gladly take a hard fought 1-0 win, but a draw wouldnt be the end of the world by any stretch.

How many rag guests have we got on here tonight, its as slow as shite. >:(

Not slagging the OP but we have these threads after every game.

I think, given our ambition that we need to accept that every game is important. I'll stop there before I start speaking like a footballer and using words like 'cute' and coming out with trite phrases like 'we must respect the opposition'.

Fuck Everton.

3-1 City.
