Dont want to put a downer on overall another great night with 11 good performances. But bobby's first test is Everton away. A hard game at the best of times and they are another team who have hit form. A fixture we normally struggle in so saturday will be a good indication of how far we've come. I'd settle for a point in honesty. C'mon city!!!

I agree Everton will be a stern test on Saturday. However, to say that it is Mancinis first test is rubbish. In a very short space of time he has transformed a disparate bunch of individuals into a TEAM. Can you honestly say that we would have won these games under the previous regime. Especially with the injuries and acn absentees. He is doing a sterling job and I will expect him to do the same with his team against the toffees. Not only did we win comfortably tonight, we did it without really moving out of second gear. Thus preserving the fitness of the team / squad for when we do have to move up another gear or two. Under Hughes we may or may not have won tonight, but you can guarantee the players would have crawled off the pitch absolutely knackered with a niggle or injury here and there and we would most probably have got a point. Its not just about running around like headless chickens.

Great analysis!

Mancini sees himself as lucky. But actually he knows how to win with the least effort.

That's what class is about.

All our games are huge just now but we certainly have the beating of the teams we're playing over the course of the next few fixtures. Unless we bottle it, I think we can gate crash gate the title race soon enough.

This is mancini's first proper tester, everton are in hot form just like us, but their at home so people will make them the favourites, we should just go there and play our game, i'm fully confident of picking up 3 points, the days of going there and taking a point have gone, teams in the top 4 and teams who wanna compete to win the league and be the best in the country go to get 3 points.

It should be far and away the toughest match Mancini has overseen. A win there would really open some eyes.

we should win @ blue dippers! we might not either way we can win this league we have the most competative squad and a real manager now! last year at that shit hole was a great win and we had no strikers then either.

city 2-0

Just fuckin go for it,we have way to many defenders out for my liking.
I'd like to see SWP back & Bellers wont get through 3 games on the bounce, so we have a bit of a problem rearing its head.
We need to win this & it's gonna be a real test for us.

I agree, bluemanc, and Everton are playing quite well at the moment, apparently.
