Saturday lunch suggestions.

There’s a world of difference between a shite midnight doner and a proper fresh kebab.

Abduls is a top place.

My favourite Manchester kebab place has to be the Persian Grill in Levenshulme though. Proper home made kobedas and home made bread in their clay oven, absolutely sensational.
Tried this Persian Grill last week after your recommendation and I have to say absolutely feckin lovely!
Got the Kobeda with a bit of Doner also for Mrsery and I had a Chicken Kebab.
Mrsery could only manage half as they not shy with the portions so I had to polish hers off also,
Well it would be rude not to.
Yum yum.
I’ll be back!
Cheers.

I always go for the kobeda and grilled chicken mix.

Might go tomorrow now…!

The new Longsight/Rusholme is indeed a global village, Persian, Ethiopian and Somalian are the new interesting flavours to try. Luke Cowdrey (Luke Unabomber) who part owns Refuge/Electric/Volta has been an early adopter of the new kebab scene
PS I don’t eat kebabs but I know there are connoisseurs who may find this stuff interesting

Indeed. Wouldn’t go there for a curry these days but the kebab places in Rusholme are great.

I’m a big fan of Go Falafel as well.
