savage

Savage and Mancini are very good mates. They've been going getting grub together in rosso and San carlo and places like that on multiple occasions since Bobby started managing us. Savage sticks up for him a bit in his piece in the mirror
 
Those signings are dependant on a CL spot, and Mancini's job is dependant on a CL spot :)
 
Gotta say that I listened to the Wigan v Arse and even though I have hated Savage when City have played against him before, he was brilliant, the last 10 mins are well worth a listen, he was jumping up and down as the Wigan goals were going in, the 5 live reporter kept reminding him to be impartial, I was pissing my sides when Wigan got the 3rd, Savage was saying , look at wengers face, .....oh the coat has come off now........good stuff.

But thats the bit I thought I had missed, or did he not say?

were the names on the list conditional with 4th spot?

personally I thought what he said was genuine, apparently his son has started wearing a City shirt, I heard him mention on another interview a few months back, and he mentioned then that he and Bobby Manc were very good friends, and it is the lcfc connection I have heard him say in both interviews.

It was good listening to his take on the whole Hughes Out/Mancini In thing when it first happened, because he was close to both so could speak honestly.

Nope that's just the goofy **** wanting more money and getting his agent to tell the press that we're interested to try and get a better deal
