anywhere but here please
I know this is a slight distraction to what is happening at the club, but can you all assist with the petition below.

Please can you take some time to sign the petition raised by Brian Moore of the Daily Telegraph.
This is to change the way charges are levied by some of the major UK Water Companies on organisations including local non profit community sports clubs, which are run by volunteers.

This is having a major effect on local non-profit community sports clubs who are having to face increases of upto 1000% over the next few years.

This could lead to the clubs going out of business. We have to remember these clubs act as a base for people to enjoy sports in a controlled environment and provide children with an opportunity to partake in local sports and help the local communities.

I sincerely hope you will find the time to sign the petition and pass it on to friends, family and colleagues.

I Know we are all extremely busy putting the world to right regarding City, but please do help and support Brian Moore in his quest to help the local sports clubs where we have possible participated or our children are.

sorry to keep banging on about this, but this is really important for the future of local sports clubs, and I keep posting as it will jump up near the top and people pay attention to it.

Once again thanks for your support for those who have signed the petition, and I hope more people sign it.

The future of all our local sports clubs are at stake here due to the ever increasing greed of the local water companies..

If we do not do anything, local sports clubs will go out of business. The future for our national and international sports teams are at risk, if we have no sports clubs where will we find and nuture talent.

two words; the olympics

Guys as there are so many people on the board, if you have not ha a chance, please can you have a look at this.

Small local sports clubs are being squeezed by the water companies which may lead to the clubs folding and more kids on the street.

We all need to help these clubs, this is true grassroots (cricket, rugby, football, hockey etc)
