Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

The gpc has given a much needed boost to SOD. Although what the free loading pissed up old **** is doing at the Oscars I don't know.

From The Mirror.

The United legend is in Los Angeles preparing for the Oscars but was fielding questions about the Red Devils at the home of British Consul-General Chris O'Connor

Sir Alex Ferguson has backed David Moyes to come through his nightmare first season as Manchester United boss.

Moyes is under mounting pressure, with United facing a rare season of failure under their new boss following Ferguson's retirement last summer.

United are currently seventh in the table, 11 points off fourth spot and almost certain to miss out on the Champions League for the first time in 19 years.

They are also out of the FA Cup, failed to make the Capital One Cup and are facing elimination from the Champions League to lowly Olympiakos.

United, who won their 20th title by 11 points under Ferguson last season, have insisted that Moyes still has the full backing of the Old Trafford board.

But large sections of United fans have turned against Moyes and the 50-year-old Scot faces a battle to prove he is the right man to lead the club long-term.

And Ferguson, who hand-picked former Everton boss Moyes as his successor when he stepped down last year, claimed he will turn things around.

"They [United] will be all right," said Ferguson, speaking in Los Angeles where he attended last night's Oscars ceremony.

"It's early days and there have been a lot of changes.

"He [Moyes] needs time. I was there for 27 years, so with a new manager, it takes time. But they'll be okay."

United, on course for their lowest league finish since 1990, face West Brom away next Saturday before a run of three home games in nine days - against Liverpool, Olympiakos and Manchester City - that could determine his future.

Well said you drunken old sot

A fantastic week for Davie. He managed to avoid defeat. That's over a month without a league defeat. Well done Moysey.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

City gave our campaign a tremendous boost yesterday.

By winning the League Cup, it opens up another league place for the Europa League, meaning it will make it much easier to qualify.

Now all we need is for City, Arsenal or Everton to win the FA Cup and that will open up yet another league place.

Actually the FA Cup final will have to be between City and Arsenal/Everton to open up 7th place for Thursday nights next season.

...........Such a final would be the FiNAL PROOF that the FA Cup draws have for many years been rigged against United ''s interests #SOD

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

When they take down the 'Chosen One' banner at the swamp are we putting in a bid for it?

"Manchester Thanks You Sheikh Mansour, But Not As Much As It Thanks Golum"?
