Hopefully the spirit of "that magical night in Barcelona" will be revisited; all it needs is for the Germans to believe all the hype about Wee Davey being a clueless knob who is totally out of his depth at this level and an amazing victory for Wee Davey will be assured (and another thumping hard-on for Clive Tyldesley too!). #SOD

It's a good draw.

According to reports this morning Spurs were said to have gone down 'battling and with a fighting spirit' and narrowly went out. Tim Sherwood has had glowing praise. I didn't watch the game but to me losing the first goal to go 1-4 down doesn't make it a narrow game. They only had a chance of levelling the tie for 11 minutes or so after they pulled 2 back in a minute.

I think that Davey can achieve a similar result, a battling multi-goal headless defeat against the competition favourites and we'll see him given the keys to the summer war chest to continue to build his own team after the GPC left him with nothing.

Wee Davey can't lose. Just heard him on the radio. He said he was excited by the draw. It gives him a chance to go toe-to-toe with one the world's greatest coaches. It will be one for the tactical experts. On one side Pep Guardiola who managed one of the greatest sides football has ever seen at Barcelona. A team which took "total football" to a new level. On the other side Davey a man who believes in passion and getting the ball out wide for someone to lump into the box. Philip Lahm must be terrified at the prospect of facing Danny Wellbeck. Come on Davey..you can do it!

To be honest, I think we have achieved our aims for this season. I can't see Wee Davey being sacked before the Summer.

As others have said, he's in a no-lose situation against Bayern and it's too close to the end of the season for the rags to bring in another man.

Hopefully, he'll be given this phantom '£200 million warchest' and bring in some right donkeys.

Additionally, #SOD will have to be suspended for at least 24 hours next week.

BFS is in a quandary. As a committed footsoldier of #SOD he is clearly doing his bit but the poor guy has a conflict of interest because in the event that Wee Davey does get axed by the wonderful Glazers, Sam is most likely to top their shortlist of replacements.

I doubt the Glazers would pay BFS the kind of dough he is on at Wet Spam so as alluring as it would be to see Jonny Evans lumping it up to Andy Carroll in a rag shirt ( cost to the rags £40M ha ha ) who would be knocking it down for a rag shirted Kevin Nolan ( in his mid 40's ) - just ain't gonna happen ha ha ha
